How is my Social media detox going ?




Hello everyone! How have you been, Hope you all are doing fine ! cant belive I have been away from y'all for over 2..almost 3 days now :D okay enough with the clichรฉ letter style intro to a blog don’t know if that’s even a thing lol !

Aight so I don’t really miss social media at all I mean it sure is an addiction but its really very easy to give it up at least for me, I haven’t had any withdrawal symptoms so far XD I really wish I could give it up for ever but then again I wouldn’t have anyone to share my art with and you know get those sweet dose of dopamine from the appreciation that I receive from you guys in my page! There are a lot of other ways for me to spend my time, and no its not porn, well it could have been but I have blocked all porn sites along with social media sites or else the whole process of decluttering the brain would go to waste but I do waste my time on the internet I wonder if that’s doing any bad *funny sound effect*  

I have been using the internet for over 12 years now and I do know a lot of places online to explore and waste my time but still I spend most of my time online on YouTube and social media. All thanks to the engineer at Silicon Valley who have used brain science to exploit the psychological vulnerability in me and keep me hooked to only a few sites. And that’s one of the main reason why I wana give up the use of social media, it’s filled with lot of useless news which seem interesting on the surface but lack any benefits depth in terms of future betterment.

However, since a lot of people are using it so the stories that come out of it are what most of the users can relate to and that really helps corporations to take advantage of it and design stuffs around. Quite sure you are not understanding what I am saying so let’s move on to the next point shall we…

Today is only the 3rd day of no social media usage, its very easy for me to stay away maybe because I have done social media detox earlier this year, I did it for 7days in the month of April and felt fantastic doing it, however the day it ended I wasted around 2hours on Facebook, and within a week I was back to my old regular usage of social media I hope I don’t make the same mistake this time after ending my detox. 11 more days to go lets see how things unwrap. I don’t really think anyone reads this but I am still writing because I haven’t had any good writing practise in days. Oh and also my YouTube channel got monetized I was thinking of making some psychological meme related video and its not really a question I will definitely make once earlier next year in January and I will start writing the script for that video and publish it here in my website early just to make sure its alright I hope if you are reading this you will read that too ! see you on day 7 maybe bye for now.
